Four-point contact ball bearing characteristics:

-Four-point contact ball bearings are separable structures, single bearings can be used instead of front combined or rear combined angular contact ball bearings.

-Can bear radial load, axial load, limit the axial displacement of two directions, but occupy less axial space than double row angular contact ball bearing with same specifications.

-Compared with other ball bearings, the axial clearance of four-point contact ball bearing is smaller and the limit speed is higher based on same radial clearance.

-Four-point contact ball bearings are applied to bear pure axial load, or axial, radial combined load mainly on axial load. Because of the double half inner circle (or outer ring), the number of balls is increased and the capacity of carrying capacity is greater.

-Under normal working conditions, while this class bearings carry axial load in any direction, they can form a contact Angle, steel ball and the inner and outer raceway contact in one point each, avoid contact region of sliding friction. Therefore, bearing is not suitable for bearing load mainly on radial load.
